Barry’s approach is to assist clients in evaluating their legal problems and guiding them in determining whether the desired result can be achieved without the time and expense of litigation. If litigation is necessary, Barry takes pride in aggressively, but efficiently engaging in the process and in communicating regularly with the client to ensure he or she understands how their matter is progressing.

Barry has extensive experience handling a variety of civil and business litigation matters including Partnership Disputes, Unfair Competition, Real Estate purchase and sale disputes, Construction Disputes between contractors and homeowners/contractors and Employment issues.

Barry has represented individuals and companies small and large, including several public companies including Oakwood Homes and Clayton Homes. Barry also represents manufacturers such as Collicutt Energy Services and Multiquip.

Graduated 1970 with honors from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in political science and history; Received a J.D. degree from California Western School of Law in 1973 and was admitted to the California Bar in January 1974

Mr. Gold has extensive litigation and trial experience in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, real estate, employment and construction defect.

Mr. Gold was a partner in the law firm Shaffer, Gold & Rubaum from 1980-2016 and served as the lead litigation partner for the firm.
